Summary:
Dental professionals can use a variety of materials for enhancing the aesthetics of the maxillary dentition. Porcelain laminate veneers have been used for several decades for this expressed purpose; minimally invasive preparation designs and modern ceramic materials make this treatment option increasingly conservative to the natural tooth structures, while providing both predictable and long-lasting aesthetics. This discussion presents the associated clinical considerations and treatment sequences (ie, treatment planning, preparation, provisionalization, cementation) using a series of detailed case presentations.
